Working for GetBlogged
This is a short review of the site I am working on for one year now and want to share with you my struggles and pride.
First of all, this is no easy job.
It may sound easy when you say that you are paid to write reviews or articles that are sponsored by some companies on your blog. But there is no easy peasy, lemon squeezy. It is really a hard job to continually improve and update your site, educate yourself about how to write a proper cover letter and you have to invest a lot. Not much money you need to invest, but you have to invest a lot of time and patience in it as the jobs don’t fall from the sky. You will have to go through a lot of rejection and self doubt before finally starting to make money and you have to wait a lot for an opportunity to accept or decline you.
But first, let me tell you a few words about this site.
GetBlogged is a site where different companies post ads about what they need from you, like a review or an article in which you need to insert a link or two. You can apply on the site, or have to talk directly with the company and collaborate with them.
They pay through PayPal at the moment and are quick on the transfers.
The down side of the site is that, at the beginning of your journey, you will have small and rare jobs, until you increase your site domain authority and your profile.
My profile looks like this
It is still fresh and young, not busy enough, but I didn’t lose my hope. The peak domain authority is the one that makes the most magic. As you ascend with your blog and gain more and more traffic, the DA increases and lead to better paid jobs from the site. You do this by writing, writing, writing. What you need to do next, is, investing a few money in your site to be yours and not wordpress’ to be taken seriously. I, on my case, bought the personal plan which is as cheap as 36£ a year and got my site to be mine. It may look like nothing more than the free plan, but it is better.
The support team of the site is very friendly and quick to respond, which is the great side of it.
The graphics of the site are really nice and smooth, giving you the serious vibe of it and make it look less like a scam over the internet.
The payment for the assignment really depends on your domain authority but are whatnot good for your invested time.
Overall I rate it ⭐⭐⭐⭐ at the moment, I plan to change my review as the time passes.
Peace out.🔥
